TulsaBodyJewelry.net is up and running! Sorry it's been so long since posting anything here, but I've been working furiously on our sister website. We've just received a massive order from Industrial Strength. I've been stocking a little bit of their jewelry already, but now we're getting serious. Straight, curved and circular barbells, captive rings, labrets and more are all included in wide array of gauges, lengths, diameters and attachment options! Sterilite® Silver Belly Rings by Tummy Toys.
The first thing you'll notice about these belly rings is their patent pending clasp design. No more fidgeting with or chasing after those threaded balls! These rings simply unsnap, swing open and snap shut again. With the exception of some charms and dangles, all Tummy Toys are 100% nickel-free. Clothes & Accessories by Lucky 13 Apparel.
I just placed our first order and keep wondering why I didn't order from these guys any sooner... The men's and women's tee shirt designs are all great. I've ordered them in M-L-XL-XXL for the guys and S-M-L-XL for the girls. They have a wicked accessory line that includes original belts, buckles, socks, purses, tote bags and kiddie stuff. The garment rack I mentioned last month, will be replaced with two racks that my buddy Buster has put together for me. They'll be in next week. If you ever need a handy guy that can do almost any kind of metal fabrication, email me for his number.

10 New Display Cases are coming soon!
I've found the current display cases to be less than ideal for larger, more exotic jewelry. These new cases were chosen show off our growing selection of top end pieces. I've got exciting plans for all the incredible jewelry that will eventually occupy these cases! I'll need my contractor to build some nice platforms and he's been extremely busy lately. Hope it doesn't take forever to finish...

Pyrex Plugs by Glasswear Studios.
I placed the order today. I've been itching to get some of this glass into the shop, but I've been trying to pace myself a bit. These guys do some nice old standards, like the inside-out color work in their double flared pebble plugs. I've got 00g-3/4" coming in both Moss and Aurora (iridescent) for starters. Very disappointed they discontinued amber/purple... I've also got some 9/16"-1" double flared dichroic foil plugs in honeycomb, square or spotted patterns. You'll see more of their stuff here in the future, but I had to start with the most beautiful and/or unusual for now!

Zebra Plugs and Dichro Spirals by Liquid Glass.
I only wish that I could order their entire catalog, but I'd just end up with nowhere to display it all. All of their jewelry is made from either borosillicate or barium glass. We're getting their zebra plugs (backordered) in every color combination and sizes from 6mm to 16mm. They're similar to the tiger stripes from Gorilla Glass except the colors are swirled a bit more (I give 'em a higher score for difficulty rating). The dichroic spirals are different from any that I've seen... not to mention sizes from 6mm up to 16mm!

We survived the Harvard Ave microburst AND we've got some beautiful tunnels and plugs coming from Omerica Organic.
Aside from the loss of power for about 30 hours, we were pretty lucky to get through the event unscathed. Telephone poles and trees were broken all over the place. I've been hearing so many chainsaws over the last couple of days that it got me to thinking about wood plugs. Some really cool pieces like the snakewood tunnels pictured will arrive here by the end of next week.

Sourpuss Clothing & 25% Sale Rack.
I ordered a nice assortment of t-shirts and flip-flops from Sourpuss Clothing. Their designs incorporate a mix of tattoo flash, punk rock attitude and suicide girl style. All of our new t-shirt arrivals will be displacing ones that had already been hanging on ours walls. Those will be moved to a nice little garment rack that I've just ordered. Everything hanging on the rack will always be discounted 25% off the regular price. (Note: The sale rack is on backorder until the end of June!)

More of the unique and/or ancient jewelry!
I'm getting a bit carried away, but I just can't help myself. Among the newly made but unique jewelry in this shipment, you'll find a pair of 1 1/2" British Columbian Jade tunnels, 3/4" Siberian Jade cylinders, (2g?) Serpentine dragon claws, and Chinese bone scrimshaw tunnels. The following items won't be available for sale, but displayed in-store for your viewing pleasure... three Neolithic African Quartz labrets, one Mezcala Greenstone plug, an Aztec Obsidian labret, a papua New Guinea coral septum, two Cambodian glass plugs, a pair of Chinese Dong hoops (!), and an Inuit Fossilized Walrus Ivory earring. They're all pretty old and authentically used, but some are over 1,000 years old! These will arrive sometime before the end of May.

Exceptional organic body jewelry!
I've been promising customers that we'd be offering even more unusual jewelry than we've stocked to this date. Now it's coming. Except for the bamboo, none of these are produced in any large quantity. Size availability is virtually random. This shipment will include 00g mammoth ivory saddle plugs, 1" moose antler tunnels, Baltic amber plugs in several sizes, and several 5/8" horn plugs with detailed opal inlays. We also scored a pair of 1/2" Mexican amber plugs with insect inclusions that will be displayed at the shop, but not for sale. We'll also get pairs of the highest quality bamboo tunnels in 6g, 4g, 2g, 0g, 00g, 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16", 3/4", 7/8", 1", 1 1/8", 1 1/4", 1 3/8", and 1 1/2"... just keeping my campaign promises to Tulsa's big stretchers! These may not arrive until the second week of June.

Authentic tribal body piercing jewelry!
We've just begun to acquire some really unique body jewelry from a specialized antiquities dealer. The first group will include Burmese amber plugs, Laotian silver earrings, Tuareg silver earrings and a nose ring (pictured). All of them are authentic artifacts, originally crafted for use within the maker's own tribe or village. Most of these particular pieces date from the early 1900's. I'll build a little online museum when the collection grows to worthy size. These items are for display and not available for purchase.

The Hole Story, volumes one and two.
Do you really wanna know what it's like to get pierced? Volume one documents navel, ear, tongue, labret and septum piercings, while volume two is focused on more exotic piercings. Both videos were filmed with an Eyecam, giving the viewer a first person perspective of the entire piercing process. Even the most challenging piercings are explained in a manner that will teach the proper piercing procedures in detailed, easy to follow steps.

We've ordered a selection of shirts for men and women, onesies for baby, and pray for beer pint glasses. Oh, and wait 'till you get a look at their cute little "rodbender" panties! They should be arriving at the shop sometime next week.

Extra Virgin Grade Teflon Earlets and Plugs by Tuflon. These guys have been gaining fame for creating all kinds of custom body jewelry using extra virgin grade teflon. Teflon is extremely biocompatible and autoclavable, an ideal material for new piercings or even implants. I've just placed our first order for their plugs and earlets, with both single and double flares. I also ordered a sample pair of their big "bling" gem plugs, just to check 'em out! (Update: They've arrived and the verdict is two thumbs up.)

100% Silicone Earlets & Plugs by Kaos Softwear. We've sold the cheaper silicone plugs in our shop, but no longer. The old generics are all buy-one-get-one-free or $6 a pair until they're all gone! Kaos has a superior design of shape, color selection, quality and smooth shiny finish that you don't find on the pretenders. Our first shipment has the original earlet designs in a variety of colors, plus some of their more recent creations... Easy-to-insert hollow back plugs in either plain solid colors, or with 3-dimensional two-tone nautical stars on the face.

We're actually open for business. If that doesn't count as major news on this website, then I don't know what does! We're still getting things organized, displayed and priced so it will be a work in progress if you visit us before the end of January. Despite building a large number of display cases to begin with, we still have tons of jewelry with nowhere to go. I always planned to double the number of display cases eventually, but not for several months... we'll just have to add some sooner than that.
