Okay piece, bad shopping experience

I purchased this with the intention of pairing it with a the 14G gold labret stud, also from Tulsa body jewelry. When they arrived, i found the two pieces were incompatible. This could not be discovered until I opened the jewelry and tried to put them together. When I emailed Tulsa body jewelry, they said it was "buyer beware", and that I should have read that this piece was 'externally threaded', and since I had opened the jewelry and they wouldn't be able to resell it, i had to keep it with no return options. They do not sell compatible jewelry for this ball,

I wasn't aware 'externally threaded' was even an option. I've had my piercing for 10 years and have never seen anything like this. When I googled it, apparently, it's an older style of jewelry which is cheaper to make, but has been generally discontinued as it's less hygienic and can irritate piercings. I will never buy anything from this company again, terrible quality and bad business practices. This piece will work okay with a stud I've purchased from Fresh Trends, which is much better than Tulsa Body Jewelry in terms of quality and customer service.

Jewelry sent in a regular envelope will often arrive damaged if it gets here at all. The image above is an envelope we received not too long ago. We do not accept damaged jewelry or liability for any loss due to insufficient packaging. Recycling the original packing materials is a cheap and green solution.

Terms & Conditions

We accept returns and exchanges for any reason so long as it remains heat sealed in the original packaging. All jewelry is individually packaged in clear heat sealed bags that allow for a good visual inspection of size and color. Before opening the bags, please take a good look at your jewelry and make sure it meets up with your expectations. Your jewelry is guaranteed to be delivered undamaged and free of manufacturer defects. Broken, missing or incorrect items must be reported within seven days of delivery. Items can be exchanged or returned for refund within thirty days of delivery confirmation, but only if the original heat-sealed bags remain unopened. We do not allow returns for custom anodized titanium jewelry or specially marked clearance items. Original shipping charges will not be reimbursed, but replacements for any defective or broken merchandise are always shipped free. Refunds are issued to the original payment account and usually takes a few days for the credit to post.
