Sturdy

Be prepared to use brute strength here, maybe even pluers—these are very sturdy! I had to use a LOT of force to open to put in my conch piercing & then close it enough to hold the bead securely. (16g 1/2inch btw.)
But once it’s in it won’t budge! I sleep on it every night & the ball hasn’t popped out once, which was a big problem with my old rings.
And it looks great, of course! I’m very pleased!

Not for nostril piercings

Way too small if you get the 20gauge. I tried for a good 45 minutes but the ball and divots are so small it’s impossible. I gave up and just put back in my old nose ring

Smaller gauge captives are tricky. If you like the look of the ring with a bead, I'd recommend the fixed bead rings. They open and close with a simple twist and no worries about losing the bead.

Good quality but under so much tension I had to spread the loop out a bit with pliers to be able to get the ball in once the loops were in my ears and not very fast shipping

So when I ordered this ring I didn't realize the bead came off so I lost it within seconds and had to use the gold bead from the other ring I ordered and it was almost impossible to put on I eventually gave up and probably will never use the two I ordered pretty sad about it considering I spent about $15 here and none of the piercing I ordered worked out for me

Sorry for your troubles, but that's the difference between a 'captive' vs. 'fixed' bead ring. Captive means the bead is held in place by the tension of the ring and they're tricky if you haven't used them before. All jewelry is individually packaged in clear heat sealed bags that allow for a good visual inspection of size and color. Before opening the bags, please take a good look at your jewelry and make sure it meets up with your expectations. All jewelry is guaranteed to be delivered undamaged and free of manufacturer defects. Broken or missing jewelry must be reported within seven days of delivery. We have to assume that breakage occurred after delivery if jewelry in not heat sealed in the original packaging. Items can be exchanged or returned for refund within thirty days of delivery confirmation, but only if the original heat-sealed bags remain unopened. We do not allow returns for custom anodized titanium jewelry or specially marked clearance items. Original shipping charges will not be reimbursed, but replacements for any defective or broken merchandise are always shipped free. Refunds are issued to the original payment account and usually takes a few days for the credit to post.
